Workflow Clinical Coder – 20 hours per week
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workflow Coder to join our friendly and dynamic team at Woolpit Health Centre. This role is a hybrid part time position for 20 hours per week. We are looking for candidates who have experience of working in primary care or a similar role such as a medical summariser or clinical coder. You should have knowledge of Medical Terminology and human anatomy.
The post holder will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of clinical data and administrative duties to support the General Practitioners. The Workflow Coder will be responsible for the screening of incoming clinical correspondence and read code relevant information into the patient’s electronic healthcare records using the clinical system, Emis.
The post holder must have the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload on a day-to-day basis and work strictly in accordance with specific practice or national guidelines.
