Enhanced Access Hours

Woolpit Health Centre are working in collaboration with our colleagues within Blackbourne PCN to offer new “enhanced access” opening hours for our patients.

This means that within our network one or more of us stays open later on weekdays and in the morning on Saturdays to provide a range of services for patients who are unable to attend during the core opening hours.

The range of services offered during enhanced access hours is a blend of face to face appointments and telephone consultations, and will include but is not limited to routine appointments; medication reviews; women’s health clinics and vaccine clinics.

The services remain flexible and will evolve over time in line with patient need.

This is NOT a walk-in or emergency surgery and you should contact the out-of-hours service should you need urgent medical advice.

The enhanced opening hours of 18:30 – 20:00 Tuesdays and Thursday and 08:00 – 11:00 Saturdays are for appointments that have been booked in advance, our phone lines will not be open during these hours.

Doors will close at 19:00 on Tuesday and Thursdays, at which time we will revert to telephone appointments.
